St. Charles, IL – To predict intelligibility of a voice system, System Sensor SpectrAlert Advance speaker data is now available to model systems in EASE (Enhanced Acoustical Simulator for Engineers) software.
EASE 4.3 is a software solution designed to model sound properties for specific environments and speaker configurations. Voice evacuation system designers can use EASE to predict the intelligibility of their voice system before installation.
"Obtaining an intelligibility prediction using System Sensor speakers can now be done with EASE software," explains Christa Poss, Marketing Manager, Audible Visible Business Unit, System Sensor. "Just import the speaker information into the software along with other variables such as room materials, ceiling height, and speaker positioning."
The SpectrAlert Advance speaker data necessary to model voice evacuation systems in EASE is located online at systemsensor.com/ease. By selecting the speaker models and then the "Submit for download" button at the bottom of the page, a zipped archive is generated that includes the EASE software files and speaker reports for each of the speakers selected.
More information can be found at systemsensor.com/av or systemsensor.com/ease.
