St. Charles, IL – A new duct smoke detector technology is now available from System Sensor, a market leader in fire and notification devices.
Innovair™ with Low-Flow technology is the only duct-mounted detector UL listed for smoke detection in airspeeds as low as 100 feet per minute. This new design allows for quick and easy installation and provides outstanding reliability and ease of maintenance. Innovair with Low-Flow technology provides superior smoke detection in duct airspeed applications from 100 to 4,000 feet per minute. This includes locations where slow moving air is present, such as VAV boxes and modulated dampers.
Innovair with Low-Flow technology is the only duct smoke detector to include an advanced self-diagnostic capability to ensure operating integrity. Also included is a cover-missing signal that allows the detector to show a trouble signal if the cover is left off for more than 20 minutes. This guarantees the cover will be properly installed following routine maintenance and cleaning. The Innovair with Low-Flow technology is available in both 2- and 4-wire photoelectric versions and provides additional installer flexibility by offering a full range of input power options including 24 VAC/DC or 110/220 VAC.
