SYSTEM SENSOR INTRODUCES QuickClick FASTENING FEATURE FOR WALL-MOUNT NOTIFICATION DEVICES

St. Charles, IL — A new fastening feature for notification devices is now available from System Sensor, a market leader in fire and notification devices.

System Sensor is pleased to introduce the QuickClick fastening feature for its SpectrAlert® line of wall-mount notification devices. The QuickClick design eliminates the need for mounting screws when securing the device to the mounting plate. With the QuickClick design, installation is similar to previous SpectrAlert devices. However, rather than using screws to secure the device to the mounting plate, the installer simply hinges the housing toward the mounting plate, until the QuickClick feature is engaged, and a "click" is heard. The click indicates that the housing is attached and secure.

The QuickClick feature will be phased-in on all wall mount SpectrAlert horns, strobes, horn/strobes, and speaker/strobes in 2001.
