As a leading manufacturer of smoke detection and notification technology, System Sensor offers our Fire Protection Technology & Design Seminars throughout the United States every year. These seminars focus on fire alarm systems, HVAC/sprinkler systems, code review, detection technologies, A/V design and placement as well as technologies that can be incorporated in fire protection. The seminars are from 8 AM to 5 PM and include lunch.

The agenda for the seminar includes:

  • NFPA 72 2010 Major changes review, designing intelligible systems, examination of EASE sound design software, advanced detection and detector selection
  • NFPA 1221 Installation and use of ECSs
  • NFPA 1600 Selection of stakeholders and emergency plan development
  • NFPA 75 and NFPA 76 Applications for aspirating smoke detection




Topics covered in the FAAST Certification Class include:

  • PipeIQ® Comprehensive Software for FAAST
  • Pipe Design How to design and lay out a pipe system for an aspiration device
  • Applications Where aspiration devices should be used
  • Programming Configure the FAAST device to monitor and protect your facility

The class will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with lunch provided.
